In a world where health systems are increasingly complex, one platform is cutting through the noise to put power back in the hands of patients and carers.
Imagine having your complete health story in your pocket – not just a few scattered documents or test results, but every diagnosis, medication, referral letter, symptom log, and mental health reflection, all linked together in one intelligent, secure timeline. This is the vision behind MiKare Health, a ground-breaking digital health platform that’s reshaping how we manage and communicate our care.
Built by a team of patients, carers, and healthcare innovators, MiKare Health is more than just a storage solution. It’s a health management companion, powered by AI and designed to improve communication, confidence, and outcomes, especially in moments that matter most.
A 360-Degree View of Your Health
At its core, MiKare Health offers a centralised health record, allowing users to securely store all their personal and family medical information including test results, discharge summaries, vaccination records, and more. Whether you’re an individual managing a chronic condition, a parent coordinating multiple appointments, or a carer supporting a loved one across distance, MiKare ensures that your health data is accessible, organized, and owned by you.
“No more scattered files or forgotten details,” says Karen Perks, MiKare’s co-founder. “With MiKare, your health journey is finally in your hands.”
AI That Sees What Others Might Miss
MiKare’s most transformative feature is its AI-powered insights. By analysing patterns between symptoms, diagnoses, medications, and other entries, MiKare can help users (and their doctors) spot potential issues early before they escalate. For chronic illnesses, this is a game-changer. For acute events, it can mean the difference between uncertainty and confidence in care. For those uncertain symptoms that you could never realise where they would lead.
And for those brief, high-pressure appointments with specialists or GPs? MiKare’s pre-appointment planning tool summarises the most important details, highlights questions to ask, and ensures nothing gets lost in translation.
Your Story, Clearly Told – Even in Emergencies
In critical moments, whether it’s a trip to the emergency department or an unexpected diagnosis having access to up-to-date medical information can save time, reduce risk, and ensure appropriate care. MiKare’s Detailed Patient Summary pulls together your current medications, allergies, chronic conditions, and contacts in a mobile-friendly format. It also includes a condensed AI-generated symptom summary, an invaluable tool when seconds count.
Designed for Real Life and Real Families
Health doesn’t happen in silos. That’s why MiKare allows users to manage up to five profiles under one family plan, ideal for households with children, elderly parents, or people living with disability. Coming soon, carer access features will allow trusted family members or professionals to view or manage a loved one’s health profile with appropriate permissions.
The platform also includes a secure journal and mental health tracker, offering a private space for reflection or mood logging that can be shared with a psychologist or case worker if needed. It’s a reminder that MiKare isn’t just about physical health, it’s about the whole person.

Breaking Down Medical Jargon
MiKare tackles one of the biggest barriers to health equity: low health literacy. With AI-generated plain language explanations of diagnoses and treatment plans, it empowers users to truly understand what’s going on with their health and make confident, informed decisions.
“Health literacy is a human right,” says Dr Hemal Patel, Chief Health Strategy Officer in the MiKare team. “Our job is to make it easier for people to access, understand, and use their own health information.”

Message from MiKare co-founder
My sincerest welcome to MiKare.
MiKare was never a business idea. It was built from the floor of hospital corridors, the silence
between appointments, and the crushing weight of not being believed.
After watching my daughter go through 200 seizures, misdiagnosed by 30 doctors, and
transferred 21 times through emergency, I realised we weren’t just trying to get answers we
were trying to be seen. To be heard. To not feel like we were losing her in the system. To
make sure she didn’t die.

I remember one night, sitting beside her bed while she was again unconscious, ear plugs in,
trying to have music calm me, hearing Tim McGraw’s “Humble and Kind” with that one line
hitting me:
“When you get where you’re going, don’t forget turn back around and help the next one in
line.”
That was it. The moment.
Because if we made it through this, I promised myself, I’d turn back around. At that stage, I
only had faith I could get us through.
MiKare is me keeping that promise.
It’s for the families who’ve had to advocate louder than they should’ve needed to.
It’s for the patients whose stories live in bits of paper, scattered across clinics and hospitals.
It’s for the people who feel like they’re slipping through the cracks and just need someone,
anyone, to hold their whole story in one place.

We built MiKare so you don’t have to go through what we did.
So your voice isn’t buried in a file.
So your journey has a timeline, not just trauma.
So that help is something you don’t have to beg for.
MiKare is for you. And it’s with you.
Because when you get where you’re going, I hope you’ll turn back, too.
