In the hustle and bustle of our busy lives, there’s a serene space we often overlook when it comes to fashion, those quiet moments at home, surrounded by the comfort of loved ones. It’s here that confidence becomes a silent companion, but too often, our loungewear falls short of providing the support and comfort we truly desire. This realization, coupled with a personal journey, led to the creation of BJ’s PJs and Baby Origami DoubleWrap™, two brands committed to empowering and supporting women in every aspect, and not forgetting our Men (who are also often very supportive of us) we have also designed a range for men to feel more confident and comfortable also.
I’m Belinda Jane, my friends call me BJ, and this is my story. I embarked on a mission to redefine how women feel in their pajamas and loungewear. The journey wasn’t without its challenges, but the highs undeniably outweighed the lows. The inspiration? Simple – a desire to empower confidence, in comfort, whilst relaxing.
In those serene moments at home, I discovered that confidence was lacking in my old, daggy boyfriend’s t-shirt and shorts. As someone with sensitive skin, I struggled to find PJs or loungewear that weren’t synthetic and coated in irritating chemicals, so a cotton T-shirt and shorts was about the best I could do.
They were far from confidence building and certainly not flattering! The unflattering bulky styles and tacky lingerie options just didn’t resonate with me. This sentiment fueled the creation of BJ’s PJs, a brand focused on premium quality, practical designs, and wire-free breast support – because why sacrifice comfort for confidence? Why haven’t the styles of PJ’s changed for decades? No time like the present for positive change right!
I meticulously crafted the designs to eliminate irritations like buttons, bows, collars, cuffs, zips, and bulky waistbands maximizing comfort and providing unparalleled support. Using the finest Australian organic cotton with 4-way stretch, these PJs accommodate all shapes and sizes, offering freedom of movement, breathability, and quality bust support to reduce bounce. They offer discretion, not only to aid with painful normal times, but encourage a feeling of security and freedom (no more hiding behind that old over-sized T-shirt). It’s about embracing downtime with confidence, whether you’re working from home, traveling, enjoying sleepovers, yoga, or engaging in light workouts.
The wire-free breast support in these garments discreetly provides the necessary comfort for ladies during hormonal times, for more voluptuous figures, or just because you want to feel great day and night.

Another unique design that uses our made to order beautifully soft premium Australian organic cotton, provides a two layer-design that has a fixed inner layer to keep the baby securely swaddled, minimizing the effects of their ‘startle reflex.’ When your baby is wrapped securely for sleeping, they are more likely to settle into a dependable sleeping pattern that makes life peaceful for all.
The 4-way stretch organic natural fibers allow breathability and movement, allowing your baby to move freely, which is essential for healthy bone, joint, and muscle development, yet the wrap in a wrap means they are unable to wriggle free feeling as if they are still secure inside their mum’s belly.
